Panorama of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley
On both sides of Lingcigu Street, construction sites are bustling with the roar of machinery and the shuttling of vehicles. It inspires people to imagine this fertile land for nurturing original innovation and activates the pulse of urban development.
Since the construction started last year, the relevant units of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley have closely followed the node requirements of "opening the framework within 2 years", worked together, seized the nodes, reversed the construction schedule, and made every effort to clear the "difficulties" and "blocking points" that restrict the project construction. Over the past year, the "progress bar" of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley project has been constantly refreshed, and the science and innovation city with the integrated development of "science, industry, city and people" has come into being.
The source of innovation has emerged
Renderings of the large facilities and the east and west wings
The ultra-weak magnetic field facility and five cross-disciplinary research platforms are the source of innovation for the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley. As one of the supporting projects of the large facility, the west wing of the large facility project covers an area of 47,000 square meters and has a total construction area of about 126,000 square meters. Three cross-disciplinary research platforms will be built, including a large magnetic shielding space technology cross-disciplinary research platform, an ultra-high sensitivity ultra-weak magnetic field and inertial measurement device and instrument cross-disciplinary research platform, and a chip-based quantum sensor process technology cross-disciplinary research platform (part).
The total construction area of the project is about 126,000 square meters. After completion, the three cross-research platforms will promote the incubation of emerging industries through the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and lay the foundation for cultivating future industries with the model of "laying eggs along the way". In addition, it will also provide a key platform for the research and development, testing and technical verification of extremely weak magnetic facilities, meeting the needs of upstream research and development results and downstream results transformation.
The main project of the large facility is expected to start construction at the end of this year, and the main building of the large facility will be completed by the end of 2026. By 2030, the integrated joint commissioning of the large facility process system will be completed. The Pu Le Industrial West Block Project (Chip-based Quantum Sensor Process Technology Cross-Research Platform), which started last year, is currently in the basement construction stage. The East Wing Project of the Large Facility will build two cross-research platforms for zero-magnetic scientific device technology and quantum sensor and application system technology. The scheme design and other work are underway and it is expected to start next year.
Effective expansion of industrial space
Hangzhou National Artificial Intelligence + Equipment Manufacturing Industry Application Base Project
Another project that was officially started recently is the Puyan Bus Detention and Maintenance Base Project, also known as the "International Zero Magnetic Science Valley Hangzhou National Artificial Intelligence + Equipment Manufacturing Industry Application Base Project". This project is also the first bus detention and maintenance base demolition and reconstruction composite development and utilization project in Hangzhou. It covers an area of 39,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 171,000 square meters. After completion, it will integrate industrial research and development, trial production, production, innovation bases, bus detention and maintenance, maintenance bases and underground garages. It will retain and optimize the original bus detention and maintenance functions, expand the industrial and R&D space of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley, and effectively realize the composite development and utilization of land.
In addition to the innovative development of existing space, the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley has planned two industrial innovation center projects around the goal of promoting industrial upgrading. The Zero Magnetic Medical Equipment Industrial Innovation Center has a total land area of 17,000 square meters and a total construction area of 56,000 square meters, and the Quantum Sensing Industrial Innovation Center has a total land area of 19,000 square meters and a total construction area of 50,000 square meters. At present, the design of the two industrial innovation centers has been completed and is expected to start construction next year.
New supporting facilities suitable for living and working
The International Zero Magnetic Science Valley should be suitable not only for business but also for living. The Zero Magnetic Valley Reception Hall project was officially started in June this year, which can provide commercial leisure, conference office, exhibition, academic exchange, supporting catering and other functions.
Rendering of Zero Magnetic Valley Living Room Project
This area, which is surrounded by mountains and rivers, has opened up the city's meridians and laid out the "skeleton" of the regional road network: in May, the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley Station (formerly Puju Street Station) of Metro Line 4 entered the construction phase, connecting the Zero Magnetic Valley with several main urban areas of Hangzhou, helping scientific and technological innovation elements to gather in the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley; in September, Jieqing Road was officially opened, and the widened two-way two-lane road makes travel more convenient and smooth; the Zero Magnetic Valley Street and Fuyuan River upgrading and renovation project, with an investment of 280 million yuan, will not only improve the road grade after completion, but will also greatly improve the overall regional environment.
Landscape rendering of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley
With innovation and hard work, the construction of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley is moving forward in strides, laying a solid foundation for building a full-chain innovation ecosystem of "science-technology-industry". Here, technology, industry, and talents coexist and prosper together, and the beautiful blueprint of international style, Jiangnan charm, and life taste coexist and beautify is worth looking forward to!
