Four projects, including the west wing of the large facility, the Hangzhou National Artificial Intelligence + Equipment Manufacturing Industry Application Base, the Zero Magnetic Valley Street and Fuyuan River improvement and renovation project, and the middle section of Academician Road, have all started construction.

  According to the construction schedule of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley of "two years to lay out the framework, three years to take shape, five years to show initial scale, and nine years to complete overall construction" (referred to as the "'2359' construction schedule"), the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley, which was launched less than two years ago, has already laid out its framework and entered the accelerated construction stage.

  Hangzhou's national heavy equipment has made new progress

  "The extremely weak magnetic facility and five cross-disciplinary research platforms are the source of innovation for the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley." According to the person in charge of the construction of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley, although the regional area of ​​the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley is only 2 square kilometers, there are 26 key regional construction projects. In addition to the large facility project, there are five cross-disciplinary platforms distributed on the east and west wings of the large facility, which are responsible for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the promotion of future industrial development.

  The West Wing of the Large Facility Project is the highlight. As one of the supporting projects of the large facility, it covers an area of ​​47,000 square meters and has a total construction area of ​​about 126,000 square meters. It will build three cross-research platforms, including a large-scale magnetic shielding space technology cross-research platform, an ultra-high sensitivity and extremely weak magnetic field and inertial measurement device and instrument cross-research platform, and a chip-based quantum sensor process technology cross-research platform (part). Currently, pile foundation construction is underway.

  After completion, the three cross-research platforms will promote the incubation of emerging industries through the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and lay the foundation for cultivating future industries with the model of "laying eggs along the way". In addition, they will also provide key platforms for the research and development, testing and technical verification of extremely weak magnetic facilities, meeting the needs of upstream research and development results and downstream results transformation.

  In addition, the "national heavy equipment" has also made new progress. The full name of the extremely weak magnetic facility is "National Major Scientific and Technological Infrastructure for Ultra-High Sensitivity Extremely Weak Magnetic Field and Inertial Measurement Device". In December, the construction of the extremely weak magnetic facility will usher in the "first shovel". After completion, it will become a large-scale "zero magnetic" space with the strongest performance and the largest space, providing extreme weak magnetic environment and extreme measurement methods for deep space exploration, aerospace, life and health, etc., so that my country can maintain its leading edge in this technical field.

  At the same time, the Puluo Industrial West Block Project (Chip-based Quantum Sensor Process Technology Cross-Research Platform), which started last year, is currently under construction and is in the basement construction stage.

  When the east wing project of the large facility starts construction next year, all the cross-disciplinary research platforms within the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley will be started.

  Expand road network and develop space

  Since the beginning of this year, the construction of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley project and its preliminary services have gone hand in hand, and the project construction "progress bar" has been constantly refreshed: including large-scale facility projects, there are 10 new and continued projects this year, involving all aspects of the Zero Magnetic Valley reception hall, cross-platforms, schools and road construction, with a total investment of 7.94 billion yuan.

  Taking the opening up of urban meridians as an example, this area surrounded by mountains and rivers has laid out the "skeleton" of the regional road network: Currently, the Zero Magnetic Valley Station (formerly Puju Street Station) of Metro Line 4 has entered the main construction stage. After completion, it will connect Zero Magnetic Valley with several main urban areas of Hangzhou, helping scientific and technological innovation elements to gather in the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley; the widening and opening of Jieqing Road will benefit the parents of students of the nearby Ziyun Experimental School and make travel more convenient; the Zero Magnetic Valley Street and Fuyuan River upgrading and renovation project with an investment of 280 million yuan has officially started, which will also greatly improve the overall environment of the region.

  Another project that was officially started a few days ago, the Puyan Public Transport Detention and Maintenance Base Project, also known as the "Hangzhou National Artificial Intelligence + Equipment Manufacturing Industry Application Base Project", is another innovative development of existing space.

  According to reports, this project is also the first bus depot and maintenance base demolition and reconstruction complex development and utilization project in Hangzhou. It covers an area of ​​39,000 square meters and has a total construction area of ​​171,000 square meters. After completion, it will integrate industrial research and development, trial production, production, innovation bases, bus depot and maintenance, repair bases and underground garages. It will retain and optimize the original bus depot and maintenance functions, expand the industrial and R&D space of the International Zero Magnetic Science Valley, and effectively realize the complex development and utilization of land.

  It is worth mentioning that in order to speed up the "2359" construction schedule, in September, the High-tech Zone (Binjiang) Zero Magnetic Valley Construction Joint Operations Coordination Command Center was officially put into use, and the Zero Magnetic Valley Science City Planning and Construction Command, Binjiang Environmental Zero Magnetic Valley Project Department, Large Facilities Research Institute Project Department, Large Equipment Research Institute Project Department and design joint units officially moved in to jointly overcome construction difficulties.
